Samsung Galaxy S6 currently fastest Smartphone - benchmarks

Even before the Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 edge were launched they had reveled the new Exynos 7420 soc which created a lot a discussion. Now after the launch, turns out that there will no snapdragon version made. But how much good is the new Exynos 7420 soc? Will it be able to compete with recently launched snapdragon 810? Well it turns out it, the new chip outpaced every Smartphone to date. According to the geekbench ( a benchmarking tool ), GS6 scored 4547 as compared to 3959 of snapdragon 810 on HTC one m9. Nvidia's K1 was on third place which scored 3423. Apple is behind at 2911. Saying that it doesn't means S6 is blazingly fast. The OS also determines the smoothness and performance of the phone. The android lollipop does help boost the performance but Samsung's proprietary skin is known to cause some lag due to being heavily customized. Benchmarks cannot reveal the actual fluidity of the phone and how the phone will handle. And benchmarks can also b...

Qualcomm teases snapdragon 820 with kyro cores and also ultrasonic finger print scanner at MWC

Smartphones powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon 810 are just about to be launched. The new chip has updated performance and is efficient than ever. It had some heating issues which were fixed (as said by Qualcomm) but Qualcomm couldn't resist themselves from previewing their further next gen chip the snapdragon 820. Qualcomm previewed the snapdragon at MWC 2015. The chip is an 64 bit one will use custom made kyro cores and based on 14nm FinFET process node (which means stacking cores over the top in a 3d configuration). This could give the chip some great performance, efficiency plus it will consume less space. They already have some competition from Samsung as their exynos chip already use 14nm FinFET process node. The S820 will start begin sampling in mid 2015 which means you'll see phones with s820 at around end of the year Qualcomm also previewed their ultrasonic finger print scanning technology which scans the the finger prints in 3D and creates a virtual ...
