You can now log in to Gmail using a physical usb key

Many people might know the 2 step verification of Google that is whenever you log in it will confirm before logging on using your phone number. 

Now to make verification more secure, Google has announced in their blog, a physical USB key so whenever you log into your Google account you'll be asked to insert the key and it will insert the confirmation to it. You still need to insert the password so a thief would not be able to log in to your account using just the key

The key is made of the open standards so it is a possible to use this verification using Bluetooth, NFC, or any biometric sensor.
