How to record screen video on android lollipop without root

Android lollipop updates and bring many new APIs which gives app developers many new possibilities which they can use it in their apps.
One such feature is the recording your screen. Gone are the days when you needed the root access(superuser rights) to record your screen you can now just do it by simply downloading an app.
The app is called SCR Screen Recorder 5+. The app was very popular screen recording app but it required the root access but with the new APIs to work with the developer has updated the app and it no longer requires root access
The app is currently in beta so there might be few bugs which will be fixed in the coming updates. The app costs 1$ and you can record videos upto your full screen resolution. There is a free version of the available too which has certain restrictions like
- you can only record upto 3 minutes
- there is the watermark on the processed video
The app is very easy to use, you just need to turn on the app and press record button and it starts recording. To stop the recording you just need to lock the device for 2 seconds. Your recorded video will be saved to your storage.
