Most of the flagships today's are equipped with quad HD (2K) displays these are amazingly sharp and have very high PPI.
But Samsung wants to take it a step ahead. The company analyst recently said that they are working on 4k ( 3,840x2,160) displays but they didn't mentioned the device. Specifications of GS6 also leaked recently but they didn't have any information about the screen size and the resolution. The note 5 is the most possible candidate for this display.

Galaxy note 5 is expected to have a 5.9 inch display which is 0.2 inch bigger than the its predecessor note 4 which has 5.7 inch 2k display. Samsung always adds a few inches to it's new note device since Google's nexus 6 made by Motorola features a 5.9 inch display so 5.9 inch is the expected size for the note 5.
This would give the note 5 the PPI of more than 700. LG allegedly said that they are working on displays with PPI of 600. The question is that do that much PPI matter? Human eye cannot distinguish further than 250PPI but to be in still we see devices with 524PPI (LG G3)
