Can overcharging damage your smartphone?

WhatsApp to be free for Indian users

WhatsApp, the most popular instant messaging service, now owned by Facebook has more than 200 million users. The service is free for a year and after that it charges a nominal 1$ per year.

But according to a report by Deccan chronicle, the 1$ annual fee would not apply to Indian users. Neeraj Arora, VP, recently told the students of Indian school of business, Hyderabad that the service will be free for Indian users.

According to the company, there is insufficient penetration of credit cards and debit cards in the country. This could be good news for the Indians. They don't wanna lose their major users as 1/10 of the total users are Indians that is 70 million.
