Google play is going a Design overhaul

Google play music is gonna go a UI overhaul in the coming week. Not only the design but there are some functional changes too. It will now give better suggestions about albums and songs. This will be done by machine learning which will learn which artists and genres you listen to most.

The app will also use contextual and location to recommend tailored music. Like power music for gym and relaxing eden music for home etc. It will also change the genres according to the time of the day

This personalised recommendation will be displayed in the new redesigned home screen.
