Google to make it mandatory for app developers to provide their physical address

Google in its developer portal has announced that beginning 30 September 2014, It would be mandatory for all app developers to provide their physical address, which would be visible to every google play user Failing to do so the developers could have their apps removed from the Play Store. This will apply to all the developers who have paid apps or apps with in app purchases And not to the apps which are supported with advertisements. This raises many privacy issues with the developers On asking google justified that the physical address is needed to “comply with with consumer protection laws.”
