New android feature which keeps your phone unlocked when pocket

Google is rolling out a new smart unlock mode which will figure out weather the phone is in the hand or pocket. the feature is called ''on-bodydetection'' it uses accelerometer to figure out your position. it will stay unlocked if - you're holding it in hand -or carrying in handbag or pocket  the device will unlock automatically if its placed vertically down. picking it down requires you to manually unlock it. this will be one of the smart unlock methods other than trusted devices - which unlocks your phone if a trusted device is connected to it trusted face - which unlocks your phone using face detection and new trusted feature - which unlocks your device if you are in few miles of the preset location this was first noticed on nexus 4 running 5.0.1 and now can be seen on many devices. this seems to be a small rollout. What is USB connector type. C & why is it so important

Recently google announced the new chromebook will use USB connector type C. Also the new macbook uses USB - C. There has been quite a hype about this. So what is this new interface, how is this different than traditional USB interface, and why is it necessary. Well you all must know traditional USB. Google's own VPN service spotted in android lollipop 5.1

The 5.1 update was the follow up to the lollipop 5.0.1 update which has various bugs. 5.1 features a number of bug fixes and some UI tweaks. But recently a new google service is been spotted. Although it is not functioning it appears that google is working on a VPN service. You can also see this by going into app list in settings ( need 5.1 lollipop version ). After making it appears to be a VPN service ( a VPN or virtual private network is a tunnel which protects your ID if you're using an open WiFi connection ). The connections doesn't seem to work till now. This could be a part of alleged Google's carrier service which also includes use of open WiFi networks. This is merely an assumption it might be an incomplete project that we might not see working soon or at all.

New chrome update v41 brings pull to refresh ability

Google is pushing out new updates for the chrome for android apps. The new update adds ability to pull to refresh the webpages instead of opening through overflow menu. This was seen in beta version of google chrome a week ago. The update will also include bug fixes and performance improvements Google chrome beta app will also get a big new feature. Following v42 update, webpages will be able to send you notifications. The option is there in the site options . No details about this features are revealed as such. Lollipop update 5.1 - what's new

so google released 5.1 factory images for nexus devices on their developer site. The update contains some very important bug fixes and some new features. Samsung Galaxy S6 currently fastest Smartphone - benchmarks

Even before the Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 edge were launched they had reveled the new Exynos 7420 soc which created a lot a discussion. Now after the launch, turns out that there will no snapdragon version made. But how much good is the new Exynos 7420 soc? Will it be able to compete with recently launched snapdragon 810? Well it turns out it, the new chip outpaced every Smartphone to date. According to the geekbench ( a benchmarking tool ), GS6 scored 4547 as compared to 3959 of snapdragon 810 on HTC one m9. Nvidia's K1 was on third place which scored 3423. Apple is behind at 2911. Saying that it doesn't means S6 is blazingly fast. The OS also determines the smoothness and performance of the phone. Qualcomm teases snapdragon 820 with kyro cores and also ultrasonic finger print scanner at MWC

Smartphones powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon 810 are just about to be launched. The new chip has updated performance and is efficient than ever. It had some heating issues which were fixed (as said by Qualcomm) but Qualcomm couldn't resist themselves from previewing their further next gen chip the snapdragon 820. Qualcomm previewed the snapdragon at MWC 2015. The chip is an 64 bit one will use custom made kyro cores and based on 14nm FinFET process node (which means stacking cores over the top in a 3d configuration). This could give the chip some great performance, efficiency plus it will consume less space. They already have some competition from Samsung as their exynos chip already use 14nm FinFET process node. Samsung Galaxy S6 - did Samsung finally pulled it off this year

Samsung finally previewed their new flagship galaxy S6 along with S6 edge after all the previews, leaks and renders. But did Samsung really pulled it off this time? Smartwatches were a trend last year and manufacturers will continue to launch their second gen watches. Many new manufacturers are also stepping in the smart watch game. While common thing is that they all run android wear. Apart from the apple watch which also didn't seemed to impress anyone also had very limited functionality.
